ABOUT ABOUT

“Blessed Unrest in the Four Directions” celebrates the groundswell of transformative responses to Earth devastation, corporate and military domination and reduction in biodiversitys from peoples  around the planet. Spread creatively through social media, much of this response  is initiated by indigenous peoples. Much of it is energized by youth and by emergent life-honouring visions of Spirit. This public conversation is central to the gathering for the 20th Year Anniversary of the Transformative Learning Centre’s work at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education.

From different peoples and places, members of the Centre involved with deep systemic change, like Diane Longboat (Mohawk Six Nations), Madhu Prakash ( Ghandian activist), Paulo Wangoola (Ugandan igniter of indigenous spirit) and Eimear O'Neill (indigenous Ireland) will start that conversation. It will then be open to the participants. The focus will be on what is being called forth as deeply transformative in all human-Earth relationships right now.

Speakers

Diane Longboat, Mohawk Six Nations, Pauolo Wangoola, Busoga Uganda Africa, Eimear O'Neill, indigenous Ireland and Madhu Suri Prakash, India's Ghandian activist.
